Wyoming, MI – The Grace Tigers women's volleyball team finally saw some action in their home gymnasium Saturday morning and afternoon, facing Kalamazoo College and Rochester College in their homecoming tri-match. In both matches they had a few good runs, but could never close the gaps in two 3-0 losses.
Ashley Hoek had 8 kills and 7 blocks in the first match against Kalamazoo, her 7 blocks being the most per game for any individual throughout the entire tri-match. Megan Postma led the Tigers with 6 kills in their second match, and Dani Tanner led the Tigers with 7 digs and 3 aces.
The Tigers are now 8-11, and will face Oakland City University this upcoming Saturday in two consecutive matches at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm in the Aldrich Athletic Center.
