Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University Tigers volleyball team showed some serious improvement Friday night at the Aldrich Athletic Center, defeating the Calumet College of St. Joseph Crimson Wave 3-0 – a team that defeated them earlier on this season.
The first game was neck and neck, with the Tigers squeaking out a 31-29 victory. They would carry that momentum throughout the rest of the match, resulting in 25-16 and 25-17 set wins to close things out.
Ashley Hoek led the Tigers with 12 kills and 5 blocks and
Megan Postma added 7 kills.
Emma Summerfield recorded a team-high 21 digs, and
Tori Johnston contributed 16 assists.
The Tigers return to the court next Wednesday at home against Jackson Community College at 6:30 pm for senior night.
