Wyoming, MI – The Grace men's soccer team won big again Saturday afternoon, defeating Emmaus Bible College 7-0 at Velting Field to remain undefeated in NCCAA DII play.
Sophomore
Jared Farnsworth scored three goals for the Tigers in the first half, lifting the team to a 4-0 lead heading into the break. The possession and shots on goal were lopsided in Grace's favor again in the second half, but the Emmaus keeper had a fantastic night in the goal to hold the final score to 7-0 after recording 22 saves. Freshman
Tobias Jones added two goals and one assist, upping his weekend total to seven goals in two games.
Head Coach
Dustin Buchanan was able to use the team's depth to his advantage, seeing productive action from all 24 guys on his roster throughout the game.
The Tigers move to 7-4 heading into a game against Lincoln Christian University at home next Tuesday at 5:00 pm for Down Syndrome Awareness Night.
