Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian men's soccer team won their third straight game at home Tuesday evening, defeating Lincoln Christian University 9-2 on Down Syndrome Awareness night.
The Red Lions struck first just three minutes into the game, catching the Tigers off guard with a quality through ball. It was all Tigers from there on out, as they scored the next 8 goals before a PK from Lincoln Christian stopped their run. Senior Dustin DeVries capped things off for Grace with a beautiful goal to solidify the 9-2 win late in the game.
Freshman Brett Arnold scored a career-high 4 goals to lead the Tigers to go along with 1 assist. Freshman Tobias Jones added 2 goals and 1 assist. Jared Farnsworth and Zak TerMeer both added 2 assists.
