Wyoming, MI – A strong start and strong finish would result in an 83-75 win for the Grace Christian University men's basketball team Wednesday night over Alma College (NCAA D3) in front of a packed Aldrich Athletic Center gymnasium.
The Tigers built an 18-4 lead and held a 37-25 advantage at the halftime break. The Scots would make a push in the second half, even taking the lead midway through the final period, but the senior-led Tigers were poised down the stretch and came away with the eight point victory.

Austin Jackson dominated on the offensive end with a career-high 31 points paired with a team-high 15 rebounds. Senior
Adam Kregel knocked down 7-11 three point shots for 21 points to go along with 9 rebounds. Brandon Winchester Jones led the Tigers with 6 assists and 3 steals. As a team, the Tigers out-rebounded the Scots 46-32.
The Tigers return to their home floor this Friday against Boyce College in their first NCCAA DII game of the season at 7:00 pm.
