Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University men's soccer program coasted to a 16-0 victory over regional rival Great Lakes Christian College Wednesday evening at Velting Field. The result marked Grace Head Coach
Dustin Buchanan's 100
th career win and improves the Tigers to 4-3 on the season.
The Tigers stormed out to an 11-0 lead in the first half and never looked back, allowing the coaching staff to give valuable playing time to every player on the Grace roster. Freshman
Johann Vega led Grace with 3 goals, followed by
Brett Arnold,
Zak TerMeer, and
Miguel Luna Alonzo will 2 each.
Tobias Jones had a team-high 3 assists.
The Tigers, currently ranked #3 in the latest NCCAA DII poll, will continue their journey this weekend on the road against Boyce College in Louisville, KY on Friday and then against Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinatti, OH on Saturday.
