Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University men's basketball team welcomed NCCAA Regional opponent Welch College to town Friday night for the opening game of the John F. Bailey Memorial Classic.

The Welch Flames started the game hot, jumping out to a quick lead in the opening minutes of the game. From this point on, it was all Tigers, as they captured the lead and extended it to double digits in the second period and never looked back. Grace would find their groove on offense, dishing out 31 assists as a team to improve on their total of 8 in their season opener at Spring Arbor, and hitting the century mark for the first time this season in the 101-76 victory.
 
Spencer Grant led the Tigers with 24 points on the night. Dre Dennis added 22 points on 11-12 shooting, and added 11 rebounds. Chandler Rivers had 19 points and 5 assists. Kellum Bridgeforth dished out a team-high 8 assists.
 
Grace returns to the court Saturday afternoon against Boyce College at home at 12:00 pm.
