Wyoming, MI – The NCCAA DII #4 Grace Christian University women's basketball team won their fourth straight game Friday night, topping Mideast Regional opponent Welch College 82-43 at the Aldrich Athletic Center. The Tigers led from start to finish, scoring the first 9 points of the game and outscoring the Flames 40-13 in the first half.
It was a balanced effort for the Tigers, with 13 finding the scoring column led by
Megan Scholtens with 12 points.
Bre Harris followed with 10 points to go along with 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 6 steals. For the first time this injury-plagued season, all 15 players dressed for the Tigers.
The Tigers, now 12-14 on the season (5-0 NCCAA DII), return back to their home court next Saturday at noon, facing Oakland City University.
