Winona Lake, IN – Due to restrictions in the state of Michigan, the Concordia University-Ann Arbor Cardinals and Grace Christian University Tigers women's basketball teams traveled down to the state of Indiana for a Wednesday afternoon matchup hosted by Grace College. Though the Tigers would start the game firing on all cylinders and scored the first 7 points, the Cardinals would capture the lead in the second quarter and extend it to a comfortable margin in the second half, eventually coming away as the victor, 90-57.
Megan George scored 21 points for the Tigers, followed by
Bre VanVleet who had 10 points and a team-high 8 rebounds. Shooting from the field and from the outside continues to be something for the Tigers to work on, as they connected on 35% of their field goals and 16% from the three point line.
Grace returns to the floor in Winona Lake today at 4:00 pm, conveniently scheduling another game at the location against the host school Grace College (IN). The game can be watched live,
