Wyoming, MI – The Grace Christian University men's soccer team faced Andrews University in their second-to-last home game Tuesday evening. The Tigers had defeated Andrews 5-0 a few shorts weeks ago, but they were still well aware that they would have to bring quality play against a Cardinals team that has the capability to surprise some teams with their firepower.

Brett Arnold would put the Tigers on the board early, following a shot that was saved by the Cardinals' keeper for his own rebound and goal. The Cardinals talented offensive front answered quickly, taking advantage of a short lapse from the Tigers' defense to knot things at 1-1. Arnold would score again on an assist from Justin Riemersma to break the tie, and then Ryan Cronkright scored to give the Tigers a two-goal lead headed into the halftime break. The second half was completely scoreless, resulting in the sixth straight win for the Tigers with a final of 3-1.

The Tigers, now ranked #5 in the nation and sitting at 9-4 on the season, will follow up with a travel day Wednesday for games in Kentucky Thursday at Boyce College and Saturday at Ohio Christian University. They return home next week to close out their regular season against Moody Bible on Friday the 29^th.
