Wyoming, MI – The Grace women's soccer team welcomed Andrews University to town for their final home game of the 2021 season Tuesday afternoon, and they did not disappoint, rolling to a 6-0 victory over the Cardinals.
Missing their leading scorer and starting forward
Jennie Sue Pilieci, the Tigers were still able to produce some quality offense, led by senior
Aubrey Bristol who scored one goal and assisted on two. For the other five goals, Grace would spread the wealth, with
Hannah Heyboer,
Madison DeLong,
Alivia TerMeer,
Kylie Plichta, and
Abigail Schwab all getting in on the action.
The win is the third straight for the Tigers and moves them to 10-5 on the year. Goalkeeper
Amiah Lake and the Tigers' defense now has seven total shutout wins on the season.
Next up for Grace is a road trip to Iowa with two big NCCAA games against Faith Baptist Bible College, a team the Tigers faced in the NCCAA National Tournament just a few seasons ago. The games will be played at 2:00 pm on both Thursday and Friday.
