Wyoming, MI – It was not necessarily the prettiest win that the Grace Christian University women's soccer team has seen this year, but the Tigers prevailed over NCCAA DII reigning National Champion Maranatha Baptist University Saturday afternoon at Velting Field, 1-0.

Jenny Farnsworth scored the lone goal for the Tigers on a loose ball in the box in the first half, which would ultimately prove to be the game winner. Grace outshot Maranatha 14-4 and had 3 corner kicks compared to 0 for their opponent.

It is the second time this season the Tigers have defeated the Sabercats, and the win keeps them undefeated in NCCAA play and sets the stage for a big-time NCCAA DII Top 3 match-up with Great Lakes Christian College Wednesday at 2:30 pm at Velting Field.
