It was a successful weekend for the Grace women's basketball team, as they followed up their first win against Welch College with another victory to improve their season record to 6-9 and their NCCAA DII record to 4-0.
Ashley Hoek put up some staggering numbers in the rebound column for the second straight game against the Welch Flames, following a 20 rebound game with an 18 rebounds/16 point performance.
Bre VanVleet led the Tigers with 18 points, while
Megan George filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists.
The Tigers seem to be heating up late in the season, winning four out of their last five games. Next up is a match-up with Trinity Christian College, a game that was originally scheduled at home but will now be played in Palos Heights, IL. Tip-off will be at 7:00 pm CST.
