Harrodsburg, KY - Saturday afternoon was a grind for the Grace Christian University women's basketball team on the road against regional opponent Campbellsville-Harrodsburg. Despite leading by 9 points at the half, an ice-cold second half would ultimately be their demise in the loss, shooting only 8-36 from the field and 0-9 from beyond the arc in the final 20 minutes as Campbellsville-Harrodsburg outscored them 36-20 during that span.
Ashley Hoek had 12 points and 19 rebounds for the Tigers.
Emily Libey and
Megan George scored 15 and 11 points, respectively.
The Pioneers' 62-55 victory over the Tigers gives them their first loss in NCCAA DII play, as they move to 4-1 in their division on the season and 6-11 on the year. Next up for Grace is a game next Monday night against Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI – their first game in their home state since November 9
