Wyoming, MI - The Grace Christian University men's basketball team coasted to victory Thursday afternoon at the Aldrich Athletic Center, defeating Concordia Theological Seminary 119-24. It was a record breaking outing for the team and
Kellum Bridgeforth, as the 24 points was the least amount ever allowed by Grace and Bridgeforth's 16 assists puts him in the record books with the highest assist output in a game.
Seven Tigers finished in double-figures scoring, led by
Jarius Shumpert with 19.
Thomas Hill and
Eli Carlson followed with 17 each. Freshmen
Carson Whipple and
Braiden McDonald had career-highs with 13 and 10, respectively.
The Tigers return to the court next Friday for a game against NCCAA DII #3 Campbellsville-Harrodsburg at the Aldrich Athletic Center at 7:00 pm.
