Wyoming, MI – The Tigers' men's basketball team celebrated Senior Day Saturday afternoon with a 95-77 win over Finlandia University, led by a career-high 33 points from senior
Kierson Watts.
After some back and forth action early in the first half, the Tigers would build a commanding lead and keep it for the later stages of the game, notching the win and finishing out their regular season above .500 at 15-14.
Braiden McDonald joined Watts with a career-high of his own, scoring 13 points and knocking down 3-3 shots from beyond the arc.
Thomas Hill had a team-high 7 assists, and
Cole Powell had a team-high 10 rebounds.
The Tigers will head into next weekend's Regional Tournament as the #4 seed, but will have the perk of hosting the tournament on their home floor at the Aldrich Athletic Center. Stay tuned for more information and specific schedules, to be released this week.
