Sylvania, OH - The Grace women's basketball team traveled to Lourdes University this weekend for their final road trip out of state for the 2021-22 regular season. A slow start would result in a 41-23 deficit at the halftime break for Grace, and despite an 8-0 run to end the third quarter within striking distance at 53-41, the Tigers would ultimately fall 79-52.
Ashley Hoek led the Tigers with 14 points and 7 rebounds, and she was the only Grace player that reached double figures in the scoring column in an off-night for the Tigers' backcourt.
Zyan Tatum provided a spark off the bench with 9 points on 4-8 shooting.
Next up for Grace, now 11-8 on the season, is another NAIA match-up Monday night on the eastside of the state against Spring Arbor University at 7:00 pm.
