Wyoming, MI – The atmosphere was electric in the Aldrich Athletic Center Thursday night for the Grace Christian University Tigers women's basketball team's game against the Great Lakes Christian College Crusaders. This was especially true in the second quarter, as the Tigers got the gym rocking after outscoring their opponent 24-9 and building a lead they would hold on to for the rest of the game, resulting in a 66-55 victory.
Ashlyn Wilkes had a dominant performance, scoring 27 points and pulling down 16 rebounds.
MaKensie Mondy followed with 16 points and a team-high 4 steals.
Jada Reese added 9 points and 14 boards.
The Tigers are right back in action Friday night at 5:00 pm against regional opponent Simmons College (KY).
