Wyoming, MI - The men's team took on rival Great Lakes Christian College at home Wednesday night and the matchup did not disappoint. The game had several lead changes and came down to the last minute. The Tigers would prevail by a final of 89-83.

The Tigers started out hot, seeing a lead as large as 15 in the first half, before Great Lakes cut it down to just 2 before halftime. The second half is where the game went back and forth before Grace took control in the final minutes. The keys of the game seemed to be 3-point shooting and free throws, where the Crusaders only hit five 3-pointers and had a 54% free throw percentage. The Tigers dropped 13 from behind the ark and shot an impressive 87.5% from the free throw line.

Ty Thiel stepped up big for Grace scoring 32 points, many of which came late in the second half. Other key performers included Melvin Frazier who ended the night with 13 points, and Parker Neu who led the team in rebounds with 8. 

This win puts the Tigers at 9-12 overall on the season, and they will get a night off before starting a road trip to face Moody Bible College and Maranatha Baptist over the weekend.
