Whiting, IN - The Grace Christian University men's basketball team dropped two games in Indiana over the weekend, moving to 1-2 on the season.
It was an offensive struggle for the Tigers in game one vs. St Ambrose (IA), where they were within a possession of the lead to start the second half, but went ice cold and scored only 19 points in the final 20 minutes to result in a 66-48 setback.
In game two, the host Calumet College of St. Joseph jumped out at built a large lead from the beginning of the game, and despite outscoring the Crimson Wave in the second half the Tigers never fully recovered, falling 90-74.
Bankeys Omari led the Tigers with 11 points, followed by
Zac Yorke and
Allen Briggs with 10 apiece.
The Tigers, now 1-2 on the year, travel to Spring Arbor University to face the Cougars at 11:00 am Tuesday.
