Lansing, MI - The Men's Basketball team had a successful weekend as they defeated rival Great Lakes Christian College on Friday night and Moody Bible on Saturday afternoon. On Friday night the Tigers made the trip across the state to Lansing, where they would defeat Great Lakes for the second time this season, this time 73-68.
Zac Yorke led Grace with a season-high 19 points, while
Clayton Roberts and
Ty Thiel each added 9.
The Tigers returned to the Aldrich on Saturday afternoon as they took on Moody Bible. The Tigers defeated the Archers 89-57.
JoCorian Freeman led the Tigers in scoring with 19 points.
JT Martinson had a big night as well, pulling in a 17 point, 10 rebound double-double.
Gavin Fisher added 11 points.
The Grace Men's Basketball team, now 14-12, looks to continue their 6-game win streak. They will welcome Kuyper College on Thursday night for the last regular season game starting at 7pm, following the JV and women's games. The Tigers are seeking revenge after a tough 70-83 loss to Kuyper back in January.
