Grace Women’s Tennis Closes Out The Season With Grit And Grace

Indianapolis, IN - The Grace Christian Women's Tennis team finished up their season on Friday in Indianapolis taking on Franklin College. The women were led all season and on this day by Kyrsten Nolen, at 1st singles who lost a tough 3 set match. "She played her heart out, and left it all on the court, and that's all we can ask," commented Coach Bushen. "She is definitely the leader of this team, and it showed up on Friday with her final match."

All the matches were tough matches with many of the games traded back and forth and games going to deuce throughout the matches. Winning 5th singles in a long 3rd set was one of the new editions to team this year, Triston Murray. She battled game in and game out and was rewarded with a well-deserved win to cap her season.

The grit and grace the women's team showed in this match and this season, is a culmination of all their hard work and dedication through the year. "From the first match until the last this year, these women poured their hearts out and represented Grace Christian with charisma, character, resilience, and perseverance and that's all we can ask," said Coach Bushen. "We are very proud of these young women and all they accomplished this season."

Grace Christian University looks to continue to improve into the 2025 school year, knowing they have a great foundation to build on and new players coming in, it hopes to be an exciting off season.
