Grand Rapids, MI - The Grace Christian University Women's Tennis team opened their 2025 season with a 1-6 loss to Cornerstone University. Despite the defeat, the match was filled with competitive moments, including several closely contested three-set battles, particularly from the team's newcomers.
Two notable performance came at No. 4 and 5 singles,
Kiana Nickerson and
Madison Postma fought through a tough three-set matches, but ultimately fell short. While the overall result didn't go in Grace's favor, Coach Bushen expressed optimism, saying, "We lost some close matches, and there's a lot of potential here. This is a strong starting point for us, and we'll only get better."
