Despite the overall result, the team's performance reflected the progress made throughout the season.
In the afternoon, Grace Christian bounced back with purpose, dominating Manchester University in a 6–1 team victory. The Tigers swept all three doubles flights then rolled through singles, winning five of six flights.
Kyrsten Nolen, the No. 1 singles player, led the charge with a composed and powerful performance, setting the tone for the team. After a season of growth and hard work, the Tigers seemed to find their rhythm at just the right time.
"This team has heart," Coach Bushen said. "The hard work and grind of the season—it all came together. It's exciting to see it pay off, and I am happy for these women to get a win together."
With momentum on their side, the Tigers now set their sights on their final match of the season this coming Wednesday against Albion College. The team is eager to finish strong and carry their late-season surge into future competition.
