Grand Rapids, MI - The short handed Grace Christian Women's Soccer team fell to Cornerstone University on Tuesday evening.
Within the first 5 minutes of the game, the Golden Eagles began firing their first shots, with 2 being successful. About twenty minutes later, Cornerstone scored their third and final goal of the half. The Tigers recorded their first and only shot right before halftime. Cornerstone scored 5 more goals in the second half, defeating Grace 0-8.
Amiah Lake recorded 13 saves in goal.
Grace Soccer returns to Velting Field on Friday for the first home game of the season. The women play at 11am, followed by the men at 1pm.Â
