Wyoming, MI - The Grace Christian JV Basketball team closed out their regular season with a match up against Washtenaw Community College (Ann Arbor) on Wednesday night.
Washtenaw jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the beginning, but the Tigers quickly cut into the lead and secure a 12-point lead going into halftime. Continuing to dominate into the second half while shooting 55% from the floor, Grace would pull away for a 100-78 victory over WCC.Â
All 8 Tigers would put points on the board. Freshman
Paul Ritter led the Tigers with a career-high 22 points.
Julian Hardy,
Michael Donald, and
Trenton Rembert scored 14 points a piece.Â
Grace JV Basketball closed out the 2024-25 regular season with a 11-15 overall record. The Tigers will go on to compete in the second annual Cougar Classic JV Tournament this weekend hosted by Kuyper College. They will kick off the weekend with a match up against Kuyper College on Friday morning at 9am.Â
