Wyoming, MI - Grace Men's Soccer kicked off their home opener on August 29, 2025 at Velting field. The Tigers were looking to rebound from a 1-0 loss in their season opener and get back to the .500 mark in the early goings of the season. The Tigers would welcome in the visiting Crimson Wave from Calumet College of St. Joseph.
The Tigers offense, led by Joshua Triana, came out firing on all cylinders. Triana would open the scoring less than 15 seconds into the game and the Tigers wouldn't look back. Triana would go on to score two more goals in the half collecting a hat trick. Isaac VanderMolen would be responsible for the other first half goal extending the Tigers lead to 4-0 heading into the locker room.
The Tigers would add one more goal late in the second half scored by Jaun Perez, and continue on to a 5-0 victory to bring their record to 1-1. Freshman keeper Logan Werschem would finish the day with his first career shutout tallying 9 saves on the afternoon.
