Adrian, MI - The Grace Christian University men's soccer team headed on the road to Adrian College Wednesday afternoon, after coming of a big win at home over the weekend.
The game turned out to be a physical one with plenty of fouls going each way and a total of 8 yellow cards handed out. The Tigers proved to be the tougher team in the end scoring two goals midway through the first half, one by team leader Joshua Triana, and the other by CJ Kazmerski.
The Tigers would take this 2-0 lead into the locker room at the half and that is how the score would remain through regulation. Goalkeeper Logan Weschem collected his second consecutive shutout tallying 10 saves on the afternoon.
The Tigers improve to 2-1 on the year and look to ride this momentum in to the weekend when they welcome Indiana Wesleyan University to Velting Field. Visit gracetigers.com for more information.
