Wyoming, MI - Last Saturday the Grace Christian University women's soccer team welcomed the Knights from Kentucky Christian University to Velting Field in a weekend conference matchup. The Tigers are 1-0 in conference play in the early going's of the season placing them at #5 overall in the rankings.
The game would start off with a strong effort defensively by both teams before the Tigers Aubanie TenBrink was able to find the back of the net late in the first half giving the Tigers a 1-0 lead at halftime.
The Tigers would then come out swinging in the second half scoring 3 more goals, one by Amaya Anderson and to by Natalie Huerta to propel the Tigers to a 4-0 victory lifting them to 2-0 in NCCAA conference play. Goalkeeper Kenna Hill had a solid game defensively tallying 5 saves and disrupting several KCU scoring opportunities.
