Defiance, OH - On Wednesday September 17, the Tigers women's soccer team traveled to Defiance Ohio to take on the Defiance College Yellowjackets. The Tigers went into this match up with a 2-3 record with both wins coming in conference play. This game would turn out to be a strong defensive battle for both teams.
Throughout the game each team had several scoring opportunities but neither was able to find the back of the net. Freshman Goalkeeper Kenna Hill finished the day with 9 saves and a really strong effort defensively as she shut out the Yellow jackets.
The Tigers offense was able to create several scoring opportunities but weren't able to connect. The Tigers finished the day with 10 shots on goal. The game resulted in the Tigers first tie of the 2025 campaign moving their record to 2-3-1 on the year
