Dubuque, IA - Following an 83-76 road win at Andrews University, Men's Basketball went back on the road over the weekend to Dubuque, IA to take on the Emmaus University Eagles. The Tigers come into this matchup 12-11 on the year with just a few more games left to go in the 25-26 campaign.
Led by Brayden Gable and Keontae Richards the Tigers jumped out to an early first half lead. Shooting an impressive 61% as a team in the first half helped to boost the Tigers to a 46-23 halftime advantage.
The Tigers would continue to shoot well from the floor while continuing to apply pressure defensively forcing a game total 15 turnovers. The Tigers would go on to win 79-58 to improve their record to 13-11 on the year.
Brayden Gable finished with a game high 21 points, and Keontae Richards finished with an 18 point, 10 rebound double-double.
The Tigers return home this weekend to host Alice Lloyd College at 3pm on Saturday afternoon at the Aldrich Athletic Center.
