For the first time in 20 years, our women's Volleyball Team is representing Grace Bible College at the National Tournament located in Kissimmee, Florida! GBCVB earned 2nd place in the Mideast Region earlier this month and received, by unanimous vote, an At-Large Bid to the National Tournament by Region Chairs and other official NCCAA members.
"I am so proud of the adversity this team has faced, and so blessed to make it to nationals. It is such a testament to not only the type of players we are, but to the type of people, and for that I am most proud," junior, Ashley Bearden expressed.
"The team truly earned the right to be considered and selected to compete at the national level," Coach Becky Karsten said. "Their dedication and passion for this game and for each other has been proven over and over again this season and we are excited by what's to come. We'll be able to look back on this experience for years to come, knowing that we contributed to Grace volleyball history"
Nationals will offer GBCVB an excellent opportunity to see heightened competition and raise our overall level of play against talented teams from across the United States. This experience with fourteen people that have become one big family will not be forgotten.
"The fact that we earned a spot at nationals means that all our of our dedication, early morning practices, and passion for the game has paid off," junior, Adrianna Bunce  commented. "It's going to be a great experience as a building block for our program!"
"I am extremely excited to keep playing the sport I love with my amazing team and using this experience to continue building GBCVB," Freshman Kylee Maat added.
