Wyoming, MI - The Grace Tigers women's basketball team faced a familiar opponent in Maranatha Baptist University Friday evening in the Aldrich Athletic Center.  After a tough battle for the first two quarters, a huge run to begin the second half would ultimately seal the deal for Grace, finishing with a 65-52 victory.

The Lady Tigers led 33-25 at the half, and they quickly extended their lead to 20 with a 12-0 run to start the third quarter.  Great pressure defense was a key factor in the run that would propel the Tigers to victory over the Sabercats.  Freshman Baylee Draper led the Tigers with 20 points, followed by Jewel Ro and Miranda Carlson with 16 each.

Grace returns to the court Tuesday January 10th, facing Illinois Tech at home at 6:00 pm.
