Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Temple Terrace, FL – The Lady Tigers were still in search of a signature win for the 2017-18 season, but they would find it down in Florida against the #2 team in the nation in the NCCAA DII, Penscola Christian College.  A dominate defensive effort resulted in holding the Eagles to 50 points, so despite shooting only 31% from the floor, the Tigers still would record the 17-point victory, 67-50. 

Junior Jewel Ro led the Lady Tigers with 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Senior point guard McKenzie McCord flirted with a triple double with 10 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds.  Miranda Carlson and Megan George both scored 11.

The Lady Tigers closed out their Florida trip with a match-up with host school Florida College.  A sluggish first half would put the Tigers in a hole that was too much to overcome, resulting in an 86-55 loss.  Miranda Carlson led the Tigers with 17 points.  Jewel Ro scored 13 points and recorded team highs in rebounds and assists with 9 and 5, respectively.

The NCCAA recognized Jewel Ro as last week's Student-Athlete of the Week for her overall performance.
