Wyoming, MI – The Grace women's basketball team welcomed NCCAA DII #7 Maranatha Baptist University to the Aldrich Athletic Center Friday night for what turned out to be a highly competitive rivalry game.  Despite jumping out to an early lead, a surge from the Sabercats late in the fourth quarter would be the demise for Grace, as the game resulted in an 85-73 setback for the Lady Tigers.

Sophomore Miranda Carlson led the Lady Tigers with 26 points while freshman Megan George scored 14.  Senior McKenzie McCord recorded 10 assists on the night.

The Lady Tigers return to the court Saturday afternoon in Ohio, with an immediate opportunity to bounce back against Wright State-Lake University at 3:00 pm.
