Grayson, KY - Despite the Lady Tigers leading for the entire first half of the game, the Welch College Lady Flames brought their best in the second half to knock Grace out of regional contention with a 53-46 win.  Unfortunately, Grace would have to compete without their leading scorer and rebounder Miranda Carlson, which took a toll on their depth, which would ultimately be a huge factor in the game since freshman Megan George would battle foul trouble in the second half as well.

Welch will go on to face Kentucky Christian University for the 2018 Mideast Regional banner.

Senior Meagan Pifer recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Tigers, while senior McKenzie McCord and junior Jewel Ro both had a team-high 13 points.  McCord was later on named All-Tournament team to add to her long list of awards won throughout her career as a Tiger.

The Lady Tigers finish their 2017-18 season with an 11-16 record.
