Wyoming, MI – The Grace Bible College Lady Tigers avenged a loss from earlier this season against the Mount Mary University Saturday afternoon, defeating the Blue Angels 63-58 at home.  The Lady Tigers held a lead for the majority of the game, but the game would remain very competitive until the final buzzer.  Grace would halt every Mount Mary opportunity at the end of the game with some big defensive stops, and senior McKenzie McCord knocked down free throws at the end to seal the deal.

Sophomore Miranda Carlson led the Tigers with 20 points, followed by McCord who had 16 points to go along 7 assists.  Freshman Megan George continued her stellar second half of the season with 14 points and 8 rebounds.  Senior Meagan Pifer led the Tigers with 10 rebounds, and junior Jewel Ro had 8 assists compared to only 1 turnover on the game.

The Lady Tigers, now 9-14 on the season, return to the hardcourt in Lansing, MI, on Tuesday for a regional match-up with Great Lakes Christian College.
