Fourth quarter struggles doom Lady Tigers in loss to Sabercats

Box Score

Watertown, WI – The Lady Tigers suffered a 67-54 setback Thursday night on the road against Maranatha Baptist University.  After three quarters of play, the two teams were neck-and-neck, but an ice cold fourth quarter from the floor would be the Lady Tigers' demise.

Sophomore Miranda Carlson hit her average with 17 points, followed by freshman Megan George with 12.  Senior McKenzie McCord and junior Jewel Ro both packed the stat sheets, with McCord recorded 8 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds, while Ro had 9, 5, and 5.

Grace falls to 10-15 on the season and 5-4 against NCCAA DII teams.  They return to the floor next Tuesday for Senior Night against Andrews University at home at 5:00 pm.
