Box Score Grand Rapids, MI - The women's tennis team battled hard but ultimately fell 9-0 to the Cornerstone University Golden Eagles Friday night at the Grand Rapids Racquet and Fitness Club. The #2 doubles team of Mikyala Reynolds and Hailey Petty had the closest effort in the doubles flights, losing 8-4. Elenrae Befus, Regan Befus, and Mikyala Reynolds were well within reach of a set win on the night in their singles flights, all dropping one of their sets by a slim margin, 6-4. Hailey Petty showed a lot of promise at #3 singles, taking three games in her final set against a very talented opponent.

The ladies fall to 1-1 on the year. They will return to the court against Olivet College next Wednesday at 1:00 pm.
