FRIDAY vs. Bethel College

Granger, IN – History was made Friday afternoon at Knollwood Country Club, as the #1 doubles team of freshman Mikyala Reynolds and junior Elenrae Befus won their match 8-5, recording the first ever victory for the Grace Tigers women's tennis program.

The men's tennis team closed out their season with a 9-0 setback to the NAIA top-tier Bethel program.  The Pilots were quick to note how impressed they were with the Tigers group that made them earn every point throughout the afternoon.

SATURDAY vs. Cornerstone University

Wyoming, MI – Sophomore Maddie Brown made it consecutive history-making days for the Tigers, as she downed the Cornerstone University opponent 6-1, 6-3 at the #5 singles flight.  Worth noting, Brown played the same opponent just three short weeks ago and fell 6-1, 6-1, showing evidence of vast improvement along with the rest of the team.  The #1 doubles team of Reynolds and Elenrae Befus were just a point shy of moving to 2-0 on the year, eventually falling 9-7 after leading 7-6.  Freshman Regan Befus also was right on the verge of earning a win for the Tigers, falling 7-5, 7-5 at #4 singles.
