Battle Creek, MI - The men's tennis team started very strong Thursday afternoon against NCAA D3 Olivet College, taking 4-3 leads at both #1 and #2 doubles, but they would eventually fall 8-4 in both flights.  They would be shut out in singles matches as well, falling 9-0 to the Comets on the road.

Senior Joe Dekkenga performed well at third singles, falling 6-3, 6-3 in his first match-up of the season.  The Tigers return to the court in Ann Arbor next Friday against Concordia University along with the women at 12:00 pm.
