Box Score Louisville, KY - It is said that it is tough to beat a team three times in one season, no matter what the first two results were. The Tigers found this out first hand Friday in the Regional semis, as after defeating the Boyce Bulldogs 6-0 and 8-2 during the regular season, the tournament host pulled off a 5-3 upset over the Tigers. The Tigers saw over twice as many shots at the goal, but the Bulldogs took full advantage of their opportunities and scored the win and went on to win Saturday for a spot in the National Tournament.

After a painful day of anticipation, the Tigers received some fantastic news late in the night on Saturday - they were awarded the first at-large bid to the NCCAA DII National Tournament and their season will continue Wednesday, November 17 in Kissimmee, FL! A spectacular regular season in which the Tigers earned a #3 power ranking and finished with 9 straight wins propelled them to the deserving spot, even with the small blemish at Regionals.
