Wyoming, MI - The Grace Men's Basketball team has faced some tough opponents recently. Their hard work is starting to shine as they defeated Andrews University on Tuesday night 104-46.
"Our starting lineup has really started to gel, and it showed tonight, jumping out to a 17-2 lead," said Head Coach
Ryan Krombeen. "In our last 3 games, our first 5 minutes of each game has been a positive, which we need to continue to build off of. Having 29 assists on 36 baskets is always a recipe for victory, so I am very pleased with that (we were averaging 15 a game, way too low). Ty has really come on for us recently, and our guys did a great job finding him offensively. He and JT did a great job on the boards as well. Mel is starting to regain his confidence shooting the ball, which is huge for us."
Ty Thiel led the way with 25 points and 8 rebounds.
Melvin Frazier added 14 points.
The Tigers are back in action Wednesday night as they travel across town to face Aquinas College at 7pm.
