Dennis Graham to lead Grace Christian University Women's Basketball

Grace Christian University is pleased to announce the hiring of Dennis Graham as its next Head Women's Basketball Coach. He is a double graduate of Cornerstone University where he recently served as the director of alumni relations and assistant women's basketball coach.

"We are so excited to welcome Dennis and his family to the Grace family," said Grace Christian University Athletic Director Cory Jamieson. "Dennis brings a wealth of experience and passion for coaching the game of basketball at a high level, and has been clear and consistent from the first day we spoke about keeping Christ at the center of it all."

Graham enters his eighth year of coaching at the collegiate level and his 22nd year overall. Most recently, he served as an assistant basketball coach (2019-2023) at Cornerstone University under the guidance of coach Jessica Yonkers. He also served as an assistant men's basketball coach for one season at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (2012-2013) as well as served from 2009-2011 in the men's program at Cornerstone University alongside hall of fame coach Kim Elders. During his time at Cornerstone, he was fortunate to win back-to-back conference and tournament championships and an NAIA national championship in 2011.

Coach Graham commented on his new endeavor to lead the Grace women, while sharing a glimpse of what is to come.

"I'm extremely excited to join the Grace Christian community in this capacity. My vision is to establish a culture of trust and selflessness by building relationships that will allow our program to be difference makers, not only in the Grace Christian community but into the West Michigan community and beyond. Our actions and words will reflect what it means to be authentic followers of Jesus Christ and we will be committed to becoming high character, respectful, hardworking individuals that will allow us to be competitive in the classroom, on the court and beyond. I want our program to be known for kindness, compassion, resilience and tenacity that will allow us to reach our full potential as Christians and student-athletes."

Dennis currently resides in Kentwood, MI with his wife Rebecca. He has one son, Moise, who lives in Minooka, Il. He earned his elementary education degree in English and History in 2005 and went to receive his master's in business administration, also from Cornerstone in 2012.
