Wyoming, MI - Grace Christian University's Volleyball team is excited to announce the addition of Emilee Dembowske of Vassar High School. Emilee, who will be pursuing a degree in psychology at Grace, is the daughter of Matthew and Lindsey Dembowske and sister to Ronin and Alana.

Dembowske played 2 years of varsity volleyball for Vassar High School, where she served as team captain her senior year. The 5'9" right side hitter led her team in blocks and had 192 kills throughout her 2 varsity years. Along with volleyball, she participated in track and basketball throughout high school and also played club volleyball for Five:1 Silver. 

Emilee chose to pursue her education and athletic career as a Tiger because of how welcoming the team was, along with the smaller class sizes and safe campus atmosphere. 

"Emilee impressed me with her work ethic and positive attitude, she isn't afraid to take on a challenge and is also very caring and wants to give to others," said Head Coach Kerri Shultz. "I'm so excited to have her join us and see what she accomplishes as a Tiger!"
