Like all other recipients, Kyle’s character on and off the court best reflects the ideals of an award such as this.  Kyle was chosen to be a captain his last three years and probably would have been his freshman year if not for a coaches rule.  He was the Frank Vanderlaan Award winner for the most outstanding male athlete two times.  He is one of only three athletes to win this award twice.     

Awards as of induction date:     

Team MVP 2005, NCCAA II All Region 2002 & 2004, NCCAA II All-American 2002, NCCAA II All-Tournament Team and Tournament MVP 2002, Lincoln Christian College Classic MVP, Member of the 1,000 point club with 1,157 points ranked 10th all time, ranked 8th all time 3-pointers made (131), ranked 10th all time in FG made (467).     

Kyle was an assistant coach at Grace from 2005-2011.     

Kyle is currently finishing his Masters Degree at Cornerstone University.  He is the V.P. of Community Life at Grace Bible College and has married his wife, Lindsay in 2010.  He and Lindsay have two children, Brielle and Braylen.
