Grayson, KY - The Grace women's soccer team topped a solid Kentucky Christian University team convincingly this Saturday, 4-0.
Senior
Debbie Pekel scored twice, and freshman
Maddie Brown and sophomore
Alicia Contreras both added one goal and an assist.  Freshman
Haley Threatt also had an assist.  Goalkeeper
Megan McFarland recorded a clean sheet, which included three saves and a PK save late in the game.
"We played a great all-around game and everyone contributed. Our defense did an excellent job slowing down KCU's speedy forwards," commented Head Coach
Scott Teesdale.  "We had good energy on a hot day, and we are looking forward to 2 tough matches this week."
The Tigers take on Cleary University Tuesday at home and then travel to Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
