Women's soccer enjoys successful road trip

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Chicago, IL - The Grace Bible College Tigers women's soccer program had a very enjoyable trip to Wisconsin and Illinois this weekend, on and off of the field.  The team kicked things off with a stop in the Windy City (Chicago) on Thursday night, visiting Lincoln Park Zoo and enjoying some time away as a team.  Friday afternoon they made their way up to Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and achieved a 5-1 road win over the NCAA DIII Blue Angels.  Sophomore Maddie Brown led the Tigers with two goals, while Brandy Weaver, Renee Sischo, and Elenrae Befus all had a goal of their own.

Saturday afternoon they made a stop in Rockford, Illinois, to face the Rockford University Regents.  The Tigers would win handily 8-0 to close out their road trip, led by a hat-trick by Maddie Brown and two goals and two assists from sophomore Brandy Weaver.  Freshman Felicia Feirick also had a career-high two goals in the game.

The Tigers return to the road next weekend, as they travel to Grayson, Kentucky for two big regional match-ups against Kentucky Christian University and Johnson University-TN.
