Women's soccer finishes 3rd in NCCAA

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Greenville, SC - Two goals from sophomore Maddie Brown in the second half led to the Tigers prevailing over Randall University in the NCCAA 3rd Place game Saturday afternoon.  They would fall 2-0 to Providence University College (Canada) in the semifinal game on Friday.

The Tigers finish the year 11-6-1, with notable wins over three NCAA D3 teams and one NAIA D2 team.  They also had their best finish ever against local NAIA school Cornerstone University, tying the Golden Eagles 1-1.  The 3rd place finish is the second best in school history, after a runner-up finish in last year's National Tournament.
