Berrien Springs, MI – The Grace Tigers recorded a quality win on the road Tuesday night at Andrews University, defeating the USCAA #6 Cardinals, 76-64.
Grace would jump out to an early lead and carry a 46-26 advantage into halftime. They held their 20-point cushion until just over 5 minutes remained in the game Andrews stormed back to trim the lead to single digits. With a couple defensive stops and made free throws, the Tigers did not allow them to close the gap completely, resulting in the 12-point victory – their 13
h straight.
"I really love the way we are playing right now," commented Head Coach
Gary Bailey. "To go on the road and beat a team like Andrews, in their gym, is no easy task. We continue to get great starts, shoot the ball well, and play defense. And, this is not just a team those goes 7 or 8 deep. This whole team has been contributing at a high level all during this win streak. I am really proud of our players and staff."

Jared Bradford led Grace with 23 points, including an unblemished 8-8 from the free throw line. Junior
Matt Jensen added a season-high 14 points. Freshman
Brandon Winchester-Jones continued his quality play with 13 points on a flawless 4-4 from the field, all from beyond the arc. Junior
Bernard Smith led the Tigers on the glass with 10 rebounds.
Grace will close out the regular season at home against Great Lakes Christian College next Tuesday at 7 pm. The 2017 Mideast Regional Tournament will follow at home next Thursday-Saturday.
